Initial setup

Account created by onboarder, or existing account added to a team or organization.

Set up OTP

  • GitLab: user -> preferences -> account

Add ssh key

  • GitLab: user -> preferences -> ssh keys

Create access token (advanced use)

for some use scenarios access token is required to be used instead of password for automated access (like in cloning over https and accessing API)

  • GitLab: user -> preferences -> access tokens
Clone repository
